Description
Description
Lo-Sag™ is a High-Temperature Low-Sag (HTLS) overhead conductor developed by Nexans. It combines a full carbon fiber high modulus composite core (protected by an airtight aluminium tube) with either annealed or thermal-resistant aluminium alloy strands, delivering significantly higher ampacity and reduced sag compared to traditional conductors. Ideal for reconductoring, this makes it ideal for upgrading existing transmission lines without altering tower structures, carrying up to 2x more current than ACSR of equivalent size.
