Applications

Nexans YMz1K ss B2ca ULTRAFLEX is an extra flexible halogen free power cable for general use in construction works subject to performance requirements on reaction to fire. YMz1K ss B2ca ULTRAFLEX is suitable for application in low voltage installations up to 0.6/1 kV, according to NEN1010. It meets the requirements according to fire classification B2ca-s1,d1,a1 for buildings and civil engineering works with a very high fire hazard level (NEN 8012).

• Easy to bend: super flexible Class 2 conductors with Class 5 construction. Ideal for tight bends and confined spaces.
• Standards-compliant safety: fully suitable for applications designed according to NEN 1010 with standard installation cables; you can continue using the same cross-sections and cable tables.
• Halogen-free and low smoke: B2ca-s1,d1,a1 according to EN 50575, limits smoke and toxic gases for safer evacuation and reduced fire spread
• UV-resistant: suitable for outdoor use; the cables meet the 720-hour test according to EN 50289-4-17 Method A.
• Equipped with EPD environmental product declaration: PEP EcoPassport gives you insight into the ecological footprint of the cables.
