Paris, June 17, 2003 - Alstom has announced the sale of its Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector. Nexans confirms having undertaken a study to evaluate whether a possible acquisition of this business by Nexans could represent an opportunity to extend its core activity in energy markets, as long as the financing conditions protect shareholders' interests.
