Nexans wins a contract worth 52 million euros for the supply of high-voltage power cables to Kuwait
Paris, April 24, 2002 - Nexans, the worldwide leader in the cable industry, has just won a new 52 million euros contract in Kuwait for the supply and turnkey installation of several 300kV high voltage power cable connections in Kuwait City, between the Salmieh X substation and six other peripheral substations.
Nexans' teams of High Voltage specialists based in Kuwait, Norway, France and Switzerland will carry out the installation work, which must be completed in 22 months.
