Nexans launches NCX®, a new high-speed miniaturized coaxial cable
Paris, October 23, 2001 - Nexans launches a new series of cables - the NCX® cables - designed to meet the miniaturization and high-speed requirements for STM1 connections between switching and transmission equipment.
The NCX® cables support voice, Internet, video and, more generally, all data transmissions at rates of up to 155 Mbit/s. They come in a smaller diameter (3.6 mm) but offer better performance (connections of up to 110 m) than the current standards. NCX® cables exist in several versions: mono *1, multi * 4, 8, 16.
