Characteristics & Applications
This cable is recommended for duct installation (by pulling or blowing). Its LSZH sheath also enables indoor installation.
It contains up to 6 tubes with up to 12 fibres per tube.
The cable has the following characteristics:
- Centrel FRP strength element (Fiber reinforced Plastic)
- Tubes filled with Jelly
- Indoor/Outdoor * cable
- All dielectric design
- Waterproof structure
- Flame retardant halogen free outer sheath
- Up to 72 fibres
- Flame non propagation (IEC 60332-1 & NFC 32070C2)
* This cable is not suitable for direct burial
Nexans fibre cable MF LSZH can include MM62.5, MM50 and SM G652 fibres.
For MM we offer different grades of fibre to suit your application: GIGAlite, GIGAlite II, GIGAlite 3 (MM50 only) or GIGAlite 4 (MM50 only).
Installation
- Set cutter blade at 1.50 mm
- Cut and remove the outer sheath
- Cut the central strength member (FRP)

- 6 gel filled tubes containing up to 12 individually coloured fibres
