Description

Characteristics & Applications

  • Especially designed for tunnel installation (very high fire resistance grade)
  • Flame retardant halogen free jacket
  • Fully waterproof
  • Provide rodent protection
  • Easy fibre management
  • Up to 36 fibres

Installation

  • Set cutter blade at 1.60 mm
  • Cut and remove the outer sheath and armour together for a minimum of 10 cm to access the ripcord
  • Remove the outer sheath and armour using the ripcord
  • Cut glass yarns and the central strength member

Construction

  1. Cross-linked LSZH-FR outer sheath
  2. Corrugated steel armour
  3. Waterblocking glass yarns
  4. Up to 6 gel filled tubes containing up to 6 individually coloured fibres
